Kwaluseni, 13 February 2026 – The University proudly received a generous donation of 100 desks from the Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) during a handover ceremony held at the Motsepe Foundation Academic Precinct, Kwaluseni Campus.

Kwaluseni, Eswatini – 23 July 2024 – The Indigenous Climate Observatories (ICO) project, which is a collaborative project between the University of Eswatini and Malmö University in Sweden, recently conducted a successful outreach programme in the Ngudzeni Inkhundla, focusing on the conservation of the endangered Sibhaha (Pepper bark) tree.
KWALUSENI- On Thursday 01 February 2024, The First National Bank Eswatini Foundation presented the refurbished FNB CyberSpace Computer Laboratory to the University Management at a function held in the Kwaluseni Campus, New Wing, Refectory.
KWALUSENI – In a significant two-day visit on the 7th and 8th March 2024, the Secretariat of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) arrived at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) to monitor the progress of the SADC-SIPS (Support to Industrialization and Productive Sectors) grant programme.

SUNDAY – 9th of October, 2022 Eswatini, Africa – A new study recently published in the scientific journal the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, authored by Prof. Peter John Taylor from the Department of Zoology and Entomology, University of the Free State together with colleagues from the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Eswatini (UNESWA): Prof. Ara Monadjem, Mr. Mnqobi Lifa Mamba, and Ms. Siphesihle Magagula and other international collaborators have described a new species of bat.

MBABANE – On Thursday 08 September 2022 at the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, UNESWA signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) aimed at enhancing work and investment in resilience building for the vulnerable population of the Kingdom.
KWALUSENI – On Tuesday 27 September 2022 at the University of Eswatini, Main Conference Room, Kwaluseni Campus, Mnyatsi-Nhleko Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, Swaziland Structural Engineers, and UNESWA signed an agreement for the resuscitation of the Kwaluseni & Mbabane Building projects, supported by the Motsepe Foundation.
