Faculty of Agriculture Leads Technical Discourse at National Feedlot Indaba

Manzini – The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) recently played a pivotal role in the Feedlot Indaba 2026, recently held at The George Hotel in Manzini. Invited by the Ministry of Agriculture for its academic expertise and research capacity, the University’s Department of Animal Science served as a cornerstone for the event’s technical success.

Under the theme “Building Resilient and Competitive MSMEs in the Feedlot Sector,” the faculty and researchers led critical discussions aimed at overcoming systemic bottlenecks in the livestock value chain.
This collaboration underscores UNESWA’s commitment to the Eswatini National Development Strategy by positioning the university as a vital partner to the private sector and government in driving economic transformation.
