Kwaluseni, 31 March 2026 – The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) has officially formalised a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority – ESWACAA today. This collaboration centres on a comprehensive Management Development Programme designed to strengthen the human capital within Eswatini’s aviation sector.
Through this initiative, the UNESWA Entrepreneurship and Business Development Centre (EBDC), in partnership with the Faculty of Commerce, will equip ESWACAA professionals with critical competencies in leadership, financial management, organizational behaviour, and strategic decision-making.
Speaking on the impact of the partnership, ESWACAA Director General, Ms. Andile Mtetwa-Amaeshi, noted: “We are committed to producing human capital that is strategic, adaptive, and innovative—ensuring our leadership is prepared for the complexities of a rapidly evolving aviation landscape.”
A key highlight of the programme is the integration of future-ready skills. With the support of the UNESWA AI Academy, participants will undergo the “Mastering Generative AI for Professionals” course, ensuring leaders are adept at leveraging emerging technologies to drive institutional transformation.
As the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Justice Thwala noted, this partnership reaffirms our role as a national resource and a driver of socio-economic progress, bridging the gap between academic excellence and industry precision
