KWALUSENI – The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) is undergoing Institutional and programme assessment by External Reviewers through ESHEC. The Assessment commenced on 24th October 2023 and will run until March 2024. The objectives of the assessment are to ensure that UNESWA meets the requirements of ESHEC, and by extension regional quality standard in Higher Education.
From 24-27 October 2023, the ESHEC team visited all three campuses for institutional assessment and interviews, covering various areas such as vision and mission, governance and management, internal quality assurance mechanisms, program design and review, facilities and infrastructure, staffing, student recruitment, teaching and learning, student assessment, student progression and support, financial and administrative systems, research activities, and management information systems. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to staff members who availed themselves during this important exercise and for their valuable contributions. The feedback and recommendations from ESHEC will guide us in our continuous pursuit of excellence as we strive to become a fully accredited institution, providing an exceptional education experience to our staff and students.
