Qualification and Experience:

• A Master’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent for Lecturer rank.
• A PhD in Accounting for Senior Lecturer rank.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CIMA, ACCA or other Professional Accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.

Duties:

1. To teach courses in Accounting;
2. To supervise internship and students’ research;
3. To conduct research in the discipline;
4. To develop and maintain links with the industry; and
5. To engage in Community Service.

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.

Expatriate Candidates
Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
