Qualification and Experience:

• A PhD in Computer Science or related qualification.
• Specialization in Data Science will be an added advantage.

Duties:

1.To develop and teach courses in Computer Science and Information
Technology at Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels;
2.To supervise and mentor students, guiding them in their research
projects/theses and facilitating their academic growth both at
Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels;
3.To conduct cutting edge research in the Computer Science field,
publishing scholarly articles in reputable journals;
4.To serve in the Departmental and University Committees and contributing
to the overall development of the department as assigned by the Head
of Department;
5.To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
6.To engage in Community Outreach activities, fostering collaborations with local and international organisations.

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance and other benefits.

Expatriate Candidates
Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses and other benefits.
