  • Job Title: Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (Family Nurse Practice) (Ref: UNESWAAC 23/24)

Qualification and Experience:

• At least a Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practice or equivalent.
• A PhD qualification will be an added advantage.
• Teaching experience at University level and research output will be an
added advantage.
• Registration with the Eswatini Nursing Council.

Duties:

1. To teach courses in General Nursing Science at Undergraduate level including
but not limited to;
– Health Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment;
– Nursing Science and Arts;
– Pathophysiology; and
– Geriatric Nursing.
2. To supervise and mentor Undergraduate students, guiding
them in their research projects and facilitating their academic growth;
3. To supervise students’ Clinical Practicum and Field Attachment;
4. To participate in the development and review of the Undergraduate curriculum;
5. To participate in developing research proposals for submission to external
bodies for funding;
6. To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues to
contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
7. To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
8. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
9. To engage in Community Outreach activities

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance and other benefits.
Expatriate Candidates
Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses and other benefits.
