Qualification and Experience:

• A PhD in Entomology/Agricultural Entomology.
• Documented evidence of individual and/or collaborative research in
Entomology/Agricultural Entomology.
• Knowledge and evidence of teaching Entomology/Agricultural
Entomology.

Duties:

1. To teach Entomology courses at Postgraduate and Undergraduate
levels;
2. To supervise and mentor Postgraduate and Undergraduate students,
guiding them in their research theses/ projects and facilitating
their academic growth;
3. To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with
Colleagues to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and
initiatives;
4. To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
5. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
6. To engage in Community Outreach activities.

Appointment Terms:

Two-year contract position whether local or expatriate with 25% Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses (expatriate candidates only) and other benefits.
