Qualification and Experience:

 

• A relevant PhD.
• A Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practice.
• Experience as a Primary Health Care Clinical Nurse.

Duties:

 

 

1. To teach courses in Family Nurse Practice including but not limited to;

– Care of Child/Adolescent/Adult;

– Pathophysiology;

– Health Assessment; and

– Pharmacology.

2. To supervise students’ research;
3. To supervise students’ Clinical practicum;
4. To conduct research in the discipline; and
5. To engage in Community Service.

Appointment Terms:

 

Local Candidates

Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.

Expatriate Candidates

Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
