Qualification and Experience:

• A PhD in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nursing or an equivalent
qualification from an accredited University.
• A Post-doctoral Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Drug (ab)use or
their equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience in teaching at University level or an institution of
Higher Learning will be an added advantage.
• Engagement in Research and Community Service is preferred.

Duties:

1.To teach courses in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nursing;
2.To supervise and mentor Undergraduate students, guiding them in their
research projects and facilitating their academic growth;
3.To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues to
contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
4.To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
5. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
6. To engage in Community Outreach activities.

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance and other benefits.

Expatriate Candidates
Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses and other benefits.
