Qualification and Experience:

• A LLD / PhD.
• A LLM.
• A LLB.

Duties:

1. To teach Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses in Law;

2. To supervise students’ research;
3. To conduct research related to Public Law;
4. To provide academic leadership and development in the Department and/ or Faculty;
5. To engage in Community Service;
6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments as and when necessary; and
7. To perform any other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

 

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates

Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.

Expatriate Candidates

Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
