Qualification and Experience:
• A Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Science.
• A PhD will be an added advantage.
• Practical experience in Food Science laboratory setting.
• Teaching experience at tertiary level will be an added advantage.
1. To teach Undergraduate courses in Environmental Health Science;
2. To supervise and mentor Postgraduate and Undergraduate students,
guiding them in their research projects and facilitating their
academic growth;
3. To supervise Undergraduate students’ Environmental Health Science
practice;
4. To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with
Colleagues to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and
initiatives;
5. To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
7. To engage in Community Outreach activities.
Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance and other benefits.

Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses and other benefits.
