Qualification and Experience:

• At least an MSc in Animal Science.
• Experience in teaching and research at University level.

Duties:

1.To teach Undergraduate courses in Animal Science including but not
limited to:
– Beef production;
– Reproductive physiology;
– Ruminant animal production;
– Introduction to Animal Science;
– Zoology; and
– Apiculture.
2. To supervise and mentor Undergraduate students, guiding them in their
research projects and facilitating their academic growth;
3. To supervise Undergraduate students’ field attachment;
4. To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues
to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
5. To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
7. To engage in Community Outreach activities.

Appointment Terms:

Two-year contract position whether local or expatriate with 25% Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses (expatriate candidates only) and other benefits.
