  • Department: ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
  • Report To: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Qualification and Experience:
  • A Master’s Degree in Accounting/ MBA (Accounting) or equivalent qualification.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Teaching or industry experience in the discipline.
  • CIMA, ACCA or other professional qualification in addition to the stipulated academic qualifications will be an added advantage.
Duties:
  1. To teach courses in Accounting and Finance and/or Taxation at Undergraduate level;
  2. To teach Postgraduate Certificate and/or Diploma courses;
  3.  To supervise students’ research and internship;
  4. To conduct research in the discipline;
  5. To undertake Administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department;
  6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments as and when necessary; and
  7. To engage in Community Service.
Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates

Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.

Expatriate Candidates

Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
