Qualification and Experience:
• A Master’s Degree in Occupational Health Nursing or related field.
• A PhD in Occupational Health Nursing or related field will be an
added advantage.
• At least three (3) years experience in teaching at an institution of
Higher Learning.
• Demonstrated expertise in Occupational Health Nursing theory and
practice.
• Proven record of research and publications in Occupational Health
Nursing or related areas.
• Commitment to student-centered learning and ability to work in a
team environment.
• Clinical experience in Occupational Health Nursing.
• Membership in Professional Nursing Organizations.
1.To develop and deliver high-quality Lectures, Seminars, Tutorials, and
Practical sessions in Occupational Health Nursing topics;
2.To supervise and mentor Postgraduate and Undergraduate students, guiding
them in their research theses/ projects and facilitating their academic
growth;
3.To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues to
contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
4.To contribute to the design, development, and review of the curriculum;
5.To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
6.To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
7.To engage in Community Outreach activities.
