Qualification and Experience:

• At least a Master’s Degree in Community Health Nursing.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science majoring in Community Health Nursing.
• Experience in working with Communities, School Health and Organisations will be an advantage.

Duties:

1. To teach courses in Community Health Nursing;
2. To supervise students’ research;
3. To supervise school health nursing and community practicum;
4. To conduct research in the discipline;
5. To undertake Administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department;
6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments as and when necessary; and

7.     To engage in Community Service

Appointment Terms:

Local Candidates

Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.

Expatriate Candidates

Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
