Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
- Grade 1 Trade Test Certificate.
- Five (5) years Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Five (5) years experience at Grade 1 level in the Automotive Industry.
- Heavy Duty Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems.
- Familiar with Tractors & Farm implements.
Duties:
- To conduct routine maintenance of University vehicles;
- To diagnose and analyse vehicle faults;
- To overhaul engines, transmission and repair electric systems; and
- To attend to breakdowns and road test vehicles
One (1) year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance.
