Qualification and Experience:

• At least a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design/ Learning Design/Educational Technology/ Course Design and Development for Blended and/or e-Learning.
• Experience in designing online and blended courses, as well as developing instructional materials for online and blended learning within an open and distance e-learning environment will be an added advantage.

Duties:

1. To coordinate online/blended course design;
2. To develop and implement online/blended teaching-learning materials;
3. To plan and coordinate training programmes in instructional online/blended course design, development and media selection for academic staff members and commissioned course writers;
4. To assist with the digital design and development of distance education online/blended course materials using the IDE house style;
5. To undertake research in the relevant field;
6. To engage in Community Outreach activities; and

7. To carry out related duties as assigned by the Director, IDE.

Appointment Terms:

Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance.
