Manzini, 25 September 2026 – Today, the University of Eswatini celebrated a major milestone as the Uneswa Artificial Intelligence Academy hosted its graduation ceremony at The George Hotel in Manzini.
We proudly recognized 480 graduates who successfully completed our flagship short courses, with approximately 350 completing Cohort 4 of Mastering Generative AI for Professionals and around 130 finishing Cohort 6 of Generative AI for Educators.
Speaking at the ceremony, our Vice Chancellor emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer in the distant future—it’s actively transforming our workplaces, classrooms and institutions.
While Generative AI unlocks immense opportunities, critical thinking, verification and human judgment must always remain central to its use. For educators, this means guiding learners to use AI responsibly as a tool that supports—rather than replaces—critical thinking.
