Qualification and Experience:
• At least an MSc in Animal Science.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science.
• Registration as a Veterinarian with the Eswatini Veterinary Council.
• Experience in teaching and research at University level will be an
added advantage.
1.To teach Undergraduate courses in Animal Science including but not
limited to:
– Anatomy and Physiology of Farm Animals;
– Principles of Animal Behaviour and Welfare;
– Animal Health;
– Zoology; and
– Meat Science.
2.To supervise and mentor Undergraduate students, guiding them in their
research projects and facilitating their academic growth;
3. To supervise Undergraduate students’ field attachment;
4. To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues
to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
5. To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of
Department;
6. To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
7. To engage in Community Outreach activities.
Local Candidates

Expatriate Candidates
Initial Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment/Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, relocation expenses and other benefits.
