Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Education and Extension

Duration:

The normal duration of study is eight semesters (4 years) for full-time study and fourteen semesters (7 years) for part-time study. The maximum duration for full-time study is eighteen semesters (9 years) and twenty-four semesters (12 years) for part-time study.

Overview:

The programme shall be conducted by course work, examinations and dissertation. A student is required to take, and pass, a minimum of 65 credits in order to graduate. These credits are distributed as 35 credits of course work and 30 credits for dissertation.

Entry Requirements:

The normal requirement for entry into the programme shall be a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education or a Master’s degree in Agricultural Extension from the University of Eswatini or its equivalent from any other recognised university.
